Street Food is a fast growing business, and so much so that it now has its own dedicated annual exhibition at ExCel in London. Whitby Morrison went along for the first time to see what it was all about, and we weren’t left disappointed.
With the support of Crewe-based Mornflake, we displayed their famous Asquith Porridge Oats Van – and what a popular choice it proved to be with visitors flocking over to have a closer look.
The two day event proved to be a great learning curve, both about the people and the industry itself. What became clear is that ice cream is an important part, and has huge potential to become an even bigger part – especially when it comes to the artisan area of the market.
It was great to see many familiar faces from the Mobiling industry too – all looking for new ideas and opportunities.
Be sure to keep an eye for next years’ event; if you’re looking to diversify, try something new or just add a little to your business, you really cannot miss it.
