Crewe is home to the Cheshire Campus for Manchester Metropolitan University and brings a great diversity of students to the local area.
Whitby Morrison were recently invited to join an informal ‘Get Experience’ event – a place where local organisations meet with students to discuss potential placement and project work; something which could potentially benefit both the student and the company.
The turnout was excellent and it was positively surprising just how much potential is on your doorstep. An opportunity to help students gain experience yes, but also a great chance to have a young and fresh mind identifying new opportunities for a company like Whitby Morrison.
