Whitby Specialist Vehicles was founded in 1962 by Bryan Whitby as a manufacturer of soft ice cream machinery and one-off custom vehicle bodywork.

As time has progressed our range of products and services have been carefully developed to reflect changing market requirements. Designs are refined and new ideas incorporated with a constant endeavour to pre-empt future requirements. The current range of Whitby Morrison mobiles and equipment are considered ‘World Class’ and produced by some of the UK’s finest craftsmen.

Constant high demand and continued repeat business from both home and abroad has led to further expansion. Our factory is purpose-built with separate moulding, fabrication, refrigeration, vehicle build and finishing areas. Confidential research and development is conducted in our own independent design centre. This streamlined professional operation helped us to earn recognition as the World’s number one vehicle manufacturer to the Ice Cream and Catering trade.
