Eddie Iz Running - Coming soon to BBC Three

Regular visitors to the Whitby Morrison website will be aware of the incredible feat achieved by comedian Eddie Izzard during the summer of 2009. 

Accompanied by a Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van, Eddie ran in excess of 1100 miles over the course of 7 weeks covering all corners of the UK.  In those few weeks alone, it is estimated he raised at lease £250,000.00!

With Sport Relief being a BBC charity, it is only logical that they chose to film this fantastic multitude of marathons for a documentary.  Whitby Morrison understand that a 3x 1hour documentary will be screened on BBC Three from the start of next month.  As well as following Eddie around the UK, the documentary is likely to contain extensive footage of the Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van - something that will help portray the Ice Cream Industry in a positive light!
